FAQ

1) Can I assign my donation to a specific area/project of Al Maun Fund?

Yes. You can specify your donation to any of these specific projects: General Operating Fund, Baby Bundles, Community Projects, Summer Learning Boxes, or General Purpose Fund. Simply include a comment or note in your gift donation specifying what area of Al Maun Fund you would like to support in your payment method.. 

2) Do you issue tax receipts for monetary and in-kind (non-monetary) donations?

Yes. Al Maun Fund is a U.S. registered 501(c)(3) not for profit organization. Your donations are tax deductable.

For donations made online by Paypal or Google checkout your receipt from that payment processor will serve as your receipt. If you donated in-kind (non-monetary) donation or sent a check/money order through postal mail – Al Maun Fund will send you a formal tax receipt, via postal mail, within eight weeks of receipt of item/payment.

3) Do you accept clothing or furniture?

Yes. We accept gently used baby and children's clothing, for boys and girls. For women & men, the need is more for Islamic attire including khimars. garments and thoubes.

We do not accept furniture.  

4) Are you part of the United Way Donor Choice program?

Yes, we participate with the United Way of Greater Philadelphia & Southern New Jersey’s Donor Choice Program.

You can use this designation code number is 50926 no matter what part of the country you are in.
