Send Aid to those affected by earthquake in South Asia

Assalaamu ‘Alaykum waRahmatullaah,

I pray that you and your families are well and reaping the abundant rewards and goodness of this Blessed month, Aameen.

Alhamdulilaah, with the Rs.7 million (£7,000) donated by the locals and businesses, we have sent out a another two convoys of medical, shelter and food supplies to those badly effected by the South Asia Earthquake. We have also sent out gas cylinders for cooking and heat and cooking equipment.

I was suffering from severe shock so I was not able to relate to you the full scale of devastation here. Know that what you see on your screens and read in the papers is just a fraction of the damage and loss of lives in the effected areas. Know that neither the media nor any other medical or government help has yet reached the poorer areas, the mud-villages and the 100% destroyed cities. Know that from those that were saved from the earthquake, many are dying due to drinking unclean water (water used to treat patients, blood etc).

I, on behalf of all the needy and desperate Muslims out here in Kashmir and Pakistan, ask you for your help in getting basic necessities to the homeless, hungry, distraught and injured people suffering from the worst of calamities to befall them in their time.

We are asking for donations to enable us to send out more medical supplies, food, clean water, tents, blankets, clothing and kitchen equipment and inshaAllaah distribute these in the worst effected areas.
