The Salafi Independent School is a purpose-built school which opened on Monday 9th September 2002 inshallaah.
The new school caters for the whole of the primary range and incorporates a nursery. The new larger classrooms provide a warm and friendly environment to nurture and foster the Islamic development of our children.
Our new curriculum is seventy-five percent Islamic based. Recitation and memorization of the Qur'aan is given priority as is the Arabic language, Tawheed, Aqeedah and Hadeeth. Fiqh, Adaab, Islamic History and Seerah forms the remainder of the Islamic curriculum.
Literacy will meet the requirements of the National Curriculum but taught in an Islamic context. Mathematics, Science, Geography and ICT will complete the curriculum.
